This medicine, which cures serious diseases such as cancer, was started a long time ago by a king named Ravana.

 This has been built in the Mahamevuna garden in Anuradhapura.


                      Known as the Great Stupa by the Buddhists, it was built by King Dutugemunu

        It has a history of more than 2100 years.


              There are a large number of relics of the Buddha in this stupa.

                This great stupa can be considered as a World Heritage Site and is worshiped by Buddhists in Sri Lanka as well as around the world.
